Flavio Farroni

Flavio Farroni is Researcher in Vehicle Dynamic at the University of Naples, Federico II. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Systems Engineering, with a thesis developed in collaboration with Ferrari SpA, which was awarded the Tire Technology International “Young Scientist of the Year” in 2015.
His research activities in the field of vehicle dynamics led to the founding of MegaRide, an academic spin-off, where he is CEO and co-founder, that was awarded the IMSA prize in 2020.
In 2018 he was awarded as one of the 10 Italian Innovators Under 35 by MIT Technology Review for his research activities in the automotive field and in technology transfer, which led to the creation of a 20-people team working on international programs on motorsport simulations and smart mobility.
